Geo desktop: Import and export
Import / Export
This feature gives Geo users the ability to import and export data as required or bulk delete existing data within their account. Note - This feature is only available to Geo Admins.
Manage your data using the MANAGE DATA tab through your settings.
Geo Admins can import:
Note: Geo Administrators are given the option of downloading a template for all import options. This will assist in ensuring that all fields catered for by Geo are known to the user and ensure a smoother importing process.
Once a user clicks on the IMPORT button they will be taken to the next part of the process which will allow them to choose a file. Once the file has been chosen, the next step is to preview the data.
From here a user can choose new file or confirm to start the import process.
Lastly, when the import has been completed, users are taken to a results page and from here they are able to click on the DOWNLOAD button which will show users the status of their imported data.
Geo Admins can export:
Once a user clicks on the EXPORT button this will automatically begin the downloading process and appear in the downloads section of your browser / in their files.
Geo Administrators can bulk delete:
Once a user clicks on the DELETE button, the user is prompted with a pop up asking if they are sure they want to delete all data and that the action cannot be undone.
